In just 21 minutes, Queen changed the history of rock. It happened at Wembley Stadium in front of 72,000 fans when the band performed on stage during Live Aid in 1985. Few concerts have produced so many iconic moments and images, with Freddie Mercury's performance considered by many to be the pinnacle of rock history.
Queen Machine will perform in 2025 at arenas, festivals and other venues around the world in tribute to this iconic concert and a cross-section of Queen's amazing music. And, fortunately, it will not be just 21 minutes!
Look forward to an impressive concert experience where all this comes together, the magic is unleashed and Queen's music speaks for itself. Queen showed the whole world why they are the greatest rock band of all time. The location and timing of each track, as well as the transitions between them, were carefully planned and rehearsed. When Queen Machine takes the stage this summer, nothing will be left to chance. Year after year, this band raises the bar for what can be achieved as a tribute band, and 2025 will be bigger than ever.
The Queen Machine
Queen Machine have played more than 700 concerts and performed both in the US and Europe. In Denmark, they played on countless stages around the country and always left the audience in euphoria.
In 2022, Queen Machine performed in Denmark, Sweden, Monaco and the United Kingdom. In particular, the concert in London at Eventim Apollo (formerly Hammersmith Apollo), where Queen themselves played eight times, is a significant milestone for Queen Machine. This concert was performed together with the London Symphonic Rock Orchestra and West End star Kerry Ellis.
In 2023, Queen Machine participated in a charity event as part of TV2's big live TV show "Knæk Cancer-Et show for sagen" in collaboration with the Danish Cancer Association. Queen Machine was voted the best show of the evening by the audience and together with the whole of Denmark helped to raise 113 million Danish crowns for a good cause.
In 2024, Queen Machine collaborated with one of Denmark's finest and most legendary orchestras, Danmarks Underholdningsorkester. The whole collaboration culminated in a Danish tour in the autumn of 2024, where Queen's iconic works were presented in symphonic arrangements, created in collaboration with Christian Baltzer and Eirik Berge. The tour was a huge success, with over 28,000 tickets sold, including three sold-out concerts at the DR Concert Hall in Copenhagen.
The year 2025 will begin with four sold-out concerts at the Danish National Opera in Copenhagen with the show "Our Night at the Opera". This performance pays tribute to Queen's fourth studio album "A Night at the Opera" on the occasion of 50. anniversary of its publication.
